Le TP Mazembe a tenu à apporter un démenti formel au sujet d’éventuels contacts avec Al Ahly d'Égypte pour le transfert de Jackson MULEKA. Le joueur lui-même ne reconnait pas les propos qui lui sont imputés, ce jeudi 23 avril matin, sur un site égyptien. Une information largement relayée sur les réseaux sociaux et même par certains médias congolais.

Jackson Muleka précise : « Toutes les déclarations reprises par ces sites ou blogs sont fausses et ne viennent pas de moi. Je n'ai jamais donné d'interview à un quelconque média au sujet d'un départ à la fin de cette saison du TPM (où je suis encore sous contrat). Je n’ai pas non plus confirmé à un agent ou un journaliste que je suis en contact avec Al Ahly. Actuellement, je suis chez moi à la maison, je traverse comme tout le monde cette difficile période où le COVID-19 a paralysé toutes les activités. S'il faut parler d'un départ, la direction de mon club est bien placée pour le faire » a encore mentionné Jackson MULEKA dans un entretien avec la rédaction du site officiel du TP Mazembe ce jeudi soir.
